There are DX 8.0 drivers for the BLADE 3D 9880, BLADE T16, BLADE T64, BLADE XP and all future products. DX 8.0 is not supported for the 3Dimage 9850/9750 or any previous product. This is because the older products do not have the 3D hardware capabilities needed to support DX 8.0.

"Well, I Scanned The Exe, no virri.. So i checked it a bit.. And it seems its a exe file for win95... Some kinda Hot Key util.. However.. just use the .inf file when you update/install the driver.. you will be Just fine."

"The zip includes an exe file that im suspicious of, and the driver from Trident website doesnt have that exe file! So get the driver from Trident web site instead just to be safe. The driver file there has more in it too, without the exe.

"I tried this driver and it worked perfectly.
One of the PCs at the Primary School I worked at did not have the driver for their video card, and so only had the horrible 16 colours. Now has 32 bit colour at 800x600 resolution on Win98.
I had to open up the case to see the chipset on the video card, and saw it was a Trident 97 3DImage9750, and eventually found the driver here."

"The driver stated it was for Win 95 but I installed it in Win 98 2nd. It worked Great, and gave 32 Bit at 1024 X 768 resolution without difficulty. Thanks to all!"
