"This works great with Windows XP. When I downloaded the file I used the "Open" command rather than "Save". I think "Save" would have been the best so that I could save the new folders in a location like my Programs folder. Using the "Open" command placed the new folders on my desktop. After the installation I moved the files anyway and the scanner is still working fine."

"I download and installed and ran it successfully on Windows 2000 Pro, and used it to power my Umax Astra 1220U, but all the scans I have done so far have come out in black and white, even when the original image is color!
