"This includes Netgear's connection controller software, which is highly unstable and to be severely deprecated. Unzip and browse to the driver for your OS version, install only that and let Windows manage the connection (run services.msc and set WZC or Windows Zero Config to automatic)."

"the driver is buried in a pile of crap that you don't want. go to one of the three folders. there you find the naked drivers for different windows versions."
