It's work excellent with my scanner:

ArtiScan 4800Plus, manufactured by Tamarack Technologies, Inc.

I have tested this on windows XP Professional Version 2002 w/

Service Pack 1.

For the other guys:

Select the English driver option ONLY! The other language not exist on the package and if you have trouble when trying to

use the scanner, verify the properties of LPT1, one time in you

PC BIOS [must be setup as ECP] then in Computer Properties go to

Device Manager where you must enable this options onto your LPT1:

"Use any interrupt assigned to the port"

and

"Enable legacy Plug & Play detection"

"It works OK, just select the English driver (ONLY the English driver!! beacuse is the only one included in the package). Note It scans perfectly on my ArtiScan 9600 Pro-36. I haven't tested any other."
