"I am operating with ME and have a Umax 1220U. I installed this driver and the updater, the scanner works fine except the power saver feature does not. Any ideas?

"Downloaded this driver. The scanner does work however, there is a maroon colored film over everthing, including text-only documents. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this to happen. Thanks so much for posting the drivers. I can't believe that they would actually charge for drivers. I will not purchase a UMAX product again. Please note that on the German UMAX site, which is the same download area for the British site, there is information about the optional install of MagicMatch calibration profiles. It says to install MagicMatch calibration profiles copy the folders (MONITOR, PRINTER, SCANNER) from the folder PROFILES of the original driver CD into the folder PROFILES of the downloaded and expanded current driver on your hard disk and select the appropriate components in the setup dialog. I can't seem to find my original CD. Would someone please post these files in this comment area. If I find mine, I will post them. Love this site! Again, thanks so much!"
