"I didn't use my Creative Video Blaster Webcam II anymore because, surprise, surprise, it didn't work with WinXP. I have DualBoot with Win98SE and WinXP. I had to go to Win98 to use my webcam but than other programs I needed very badly didn't work. So it wasn't great. At this website I found this driver for WinXP (Pro) and it worked! I am so happy! Thanks!"

"that's very hard to find it cuz it is removed from the creative.com's support section... For install, right click on ini file than choose install didn't work for me... i did unrar the cab file than i reconnect usb, and then i located that cab i did unrar... everything is fine now unless the settings for webcam... you'll need the creative webcam monitor and webcam control software to use your webcam properly (i mean brigtness and contrast blah blah settings, this driver doesn't have that settings) i am still searching for those software... i hope i'll find it from here, some other driver sites have but they're looking for money :) that software about 4MBs... good luck for everyone... drivers are weird things :)"

"Capture quality poor. But there is no another chance for this device. Even Creative Labs does not support WebCamII USB for WinXP.

In that case this driver the only solution. There is no driver for this device anywhere. So, it's better than nothing."

"No problem during installation on WinXP (install by guiding the harware wizard to driver's inf file). The quality of picture and the speed is not so good. It performs similar to the Win9x driver."
