"Asks for re-boot, pre-loads and just looks nice. But that's all. My Win 2k install is new, clean, the mobo is Intel 6 months old (P4-ht and 512meg).

The scanner is the one with the -012 suffix... and it's the only USB device on the whole computer.

Buttons on scanner and in applet don't work, I checked c-pannel > system > dev-mgr (no probs)."

"Just install this driver (the photo editing software that came with the scanner seemed to muck up the works) and set it to run in Win 98 mode as described in one of the other entries (right click on EZ Station then compatibility tab). I was able to acquire and scan images with Paint Shop Pro with no problems at all!"

"This driver did not work with my IBM Ideascan after I installed windows xp . So far the best one is a compeye 300/600 driver . it does not work perfectly but at least I can use my scanner."
