"Worked GREAT! Just run the exe and it extracts into the windows/inf folder. Just removed the bad device reference from device manager and wa-la! It finds it and installs and WORKS.

"The system device manager listed my modem as packard bell 33.6dbf. I tried to specifically find that No. model but I found Traci's listing 'bout 4 times actually. When I downloaded and unzipped the files the readme said 'this driver is for packard bell 33.6dbf.

i'm staying with my brother and he loaned my an old p.b. computer with the 090126 modem. after installing win98 the only thing missing was driver(s) for the above modem. then came tracy. thanks a bunch. your file worked perfectly. now i'm surfing and instant messaging. you've done a good thing.
