Additional Notes

This generic driver works with Linotype Saphir Ultra 2 scanner in XP. I use Lasersoft Silverfast V.6 software that recognizes hardware full as "Saphir4" with this generic driver written by Hamrick software. Vuescan also works best. Hardware ID appears as:SCSI\ScannerLinotypeSAPHIR4_V1.5. I can assist per E-Mail if you should need some help information for install. I can guarantee that it works in my workstation best.

"You have to pay for the software, and then it still doesn't recognize the scanner if you don't have the scanner drivers already installed separately. no use here."
