I got this winwriter 150c cheap, $5 at a thrift store. (actually, I only wanted the empty cartridges, and it was for the sally ann... so was also good for charity.
There is NO driver support for this printer for win xp.
I'm gonna just chuck it. I only tried it because the ink cartrige for my ...yes.. you guessed it.. LEXMARK was defective. (no support for that either, as of yet) I have a Lexmark z11. works fine.. aside from the lack of support for the cartridges. Oh well.. guess I will be buying a new printer. Which will NOT, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, be a LEXMARK." |

"I LOST THE DRIVER SOMEHOW WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO IS UP DATE
MY LEXMARK PRINTER TO MY XP COMPUTOR MY DOWNLOAD DISC 3.5 STARTS
THEN SAYS MICROSOFT HAS NOT CHECKED OR INSPECTED THIS AND IT
WONT LOAD I GUESS I NEEDSOME HELP MY PRINER ACTUALLY PRINTED
OUT THANKS FOR BUYING LEXMARK THEN NEVER PRINTED ANY THING ELSE
HOW COULD I GET MY 3.5 DISC APPROVED BY MICROSOFT OR COULD I
I GUESS IM LOST ,I SHOULD JUST QUITE BUT I LIKE THIS PRINER IT

"This file will not work with Windows XP. It is from original windows 95 installation disk. I think by the number of comments about file not working that it should be removed from the driver guide site."

"This driver file is the setup program off of the original setup disk, and that is why it is looking for a disk with the missing dll on it. Also, the driver is only good for windows 3.1, 3.11, 95, 98, and ME. It will not work for any other operating systems(NT, 2000, or XP)."

"I downloaded the file above - setup.exe - but when i ran the application i received a pop-up box asking for a dll file - i clicked or but it kept returning and therefore i was unable to install the driver! So no - it didn't work for me."
