"do not bother with calcomp's drivers. after about an hour of "google next", stumbled onto this driver. it installed immediately and has worked printing wonderfully. now if i could just figure out how to load the paper properly so it will cut it at the right place. :) (i think i sort of have it!) which reminds me, i have only tried using the roll. have not tried manual feed."
"This worked perfectly for me with Windows XP and AutoCAD 2006. My only complaint would be the right hand margin is a little larger than optimal. Would actually appreciate help with that, if there are any ideas or fixes."
"My setup: WinXP home with AutoCAD2000i, TechJet 720c. I tried driver but scaling was all sorts of messed up and I couldn't get it to work out. Then I searched Autodesk's knowledge base and learned that the plotter manager within AutoCAD can setup drivers for CalComp plotters, including this one. That worked great."
"this driver works for us with AutoCAD 2003, WinXPP, and a techjet 720. I am using a HP external jetdirect box to plot over our LAN. occasionally, the plotter spools a plot endlessly but using the front panel to clear all data sets it going again. so still a bit of tweaking needed. but hey, better than no plotter at all !!"
