"The 1210P is not a normal scanner but the win95 scan utility WILL WORK in XP. First tell XP to install the UMAX 610P driver that it ships with. Now change the parallel port (LPT1) settings to EPP with 'Legacy support for PnP' ON and 'use any IRQ assigned to port' ON. With the scanner connected and powered ..."
