Search Form - Basic

If you're looking for the search form with the most commonly used options, this is the one. The Basic Search has all the options you are likely to need. As with all our search forms, most of the fields aren't required. If you select a manufacturer and provide no other information, that's fine! We'll give you a list of all drivers by that manufacturer. If you select model (or keyword) and no other information, no problem, we'll give you the results which match across all manufacturers, OSes, and device types.

There are two unusual features that you won't find elsewhere. One is our "exactness" filter. Two people rarely type the model number in the same way, if a device's packaging gave it's model as "AF-2211B", there is no guarantee that either the uploader of the driver or the person searching for the driver (you) will write the model exactly the same way. In the above case maybe the uploader gave us the model as "AF 2211" or "2211B" or "AF 2211B" or... There are many variations they could use when uploading, and many you could use when searching. So, our exactness system tries to compensate for this and intelligently search our system looking for all reasonable possible variations. If you are getting too many results, try making the search more exact. Too few results? Try making the search less exact to pull in more variations.

Another unique feature is our trust filter. We allow you to return only results which meet our high trust standard. Because we are a community archive we accept uploads from our members as well as uploads from our techs and from our intelligent driver finding spider. As such not all the drivers in our archive are equally safe. They are all virus scanned, but that isn't enough to be sure of its safety. With the trust ratings we give drivers you can be sure you are getting drivers which are coming directly from manufacturers or safe support sites.
